Cryptix Universe — from the Early Access build.

A browser-based 3D multiplayer universe powered by CPAY

Cryptix Universe is a browser-based 3D multiplayer game built around the Cryptix Network and its native coin, CPAY.

It combines real-time combat, character progression, PvE, PvP, trading, social interaction and a player-driven economy inside one persistent game ecosystem.

Cryptix Universe is not designed as a simple Play-to-Earn reward system where players repeat basic tasks to receive coins.

It is designed as a real game first.

Players explore the world, fight enemies, improve their equipment, complete quests, compete against other players, trade resources, participate in the marketplace and interact with a living multiplayer economy.

And because the game runs directly in the browser, players can enter the universe without downloading a traditional game client.

Play first. Economy second.

One of the biggest problems with many blockchain games is that the economic system becomes the entire game.

Players click buttons, complete repetitive tasks and receive rewards.

Cryptix Universe follows a different philosophy.

The game itself must be entertaining even without thinking about earnings.

Combat, progression, equipment, PvP, PvE, exploration, competition, quests, social interaction and long-term progression form the foundation.

The CPAY economy is built around that gameplay instead of replacing it.

Players should want to play Cryptix Universe because it is a game.

The economy gives that gameplay an additional layer of strategy, trading and opportunity.

Real-time multiplayer world

Cryptix Universe is built as a real multiplayer environment.

Players can see and interact with other players inside cities, combat areas and other parts of the world.

Cities focus on social interaction, trading, NPCs, upgrades, marketplaces and economic systems.

Outside the city, the game becomes more combat-focused.

Players encounter enemies, participate in PvE activities, fight alongside other players and compete in PvP.

Regional game infrastructure allows players to connect through different regions while important account information such as characters, items, progression, wallets, marketplace data and leaderboards remains part of the same overall Cryptix Universe ecosystem.

PvE combat

PvE is one of the central progression systems inside Cryptix Universe.

Players fight different enemies using real-time combat mechanics.

Enemies are not limited to one basic behavior.

Different enemy types can use melee attacks, ranged attacks, buffs, fire effects, stuns and other abilities.

Combat includes systems such as:

  • Melee and ranged attacks
  • Dodging
  • Critical hits
  • Different damage types
  • Hit feedback
  • Combo attacks
  • Projectile impacts
  • Damage numbers
  • Camera feedback
  • Death animations
  • Enemy abilities
  • Loot drops
  • Upgrade resources

The goal is to make combat active rather than automated.

Your character becomes stronger through equipment, levels and upgrades, while movement, positioning and player decisions remain important.

PvP

Cryptix Universe includes competitive PvP.

Players can fight against each other in different formats, including 1v1 battles and team-based combat.

PvP creates an important reason to improve equipment beyond simply defeating stronger PvE enemies.

A powerful item does not only increase a number inside an inventory.

Players can actually feel that progression when competing against others.

This creates a natural progression loop:

Fight → Earn resources → Find equipment → Upgrade → Become stronger → Compete → Progress further.

PvP adds another layer of competition through player skill, equipment combinations, character builds and rankings.

Equipment and progression

Items are one of the central parts of Cryptix Universe.

Players can find, use, upgrade and trade equipment.

Items can contain different attributes, including:

  • Attack power
  • Defense
  • Critical chance
  • Dodge chance
  • Additional bonuses and modifiers

Different item qualities create additional rarity and progression.

Magic, Rare and Legendary equipment can provide stronger attributes and become increasingly valuable within the player economy.

Finding an item is also not necessarily the end of its progression.

Players can invest resources into equipment and continue improving their character over time.

Fragments and upgrades

Fragments are one of the most important progression resources inside Cryptix Universe.

They create an important economic decision.

A player who earns fragments can sell them to another player for CPAY.

Or the player can use those fragments to upgrade equipment and become stronger.

This creates two natural sides of the economy.

Some players concentrate on gathering and selling resources.

Other players buy those resources because they want to progress faster.

Sellers create supply.

Buyers create demand.

The players determine the market.

Resources therefore have value because other players actually need them for progression.

A decentralized CPAY marketplace

The marketplace is one of the central economic systems inside Cryptix Universe.

Unlike a traditional game economy based entirely on an internal virtual currency controlled by the game server, Cryptix Universe uses real CPAY.

Players use their own local CPAY wallets directly inside the game ecosystem.

CPAY remains a real Cryptix Network coin rather than becoming an artificial database balance created specifically for the game.

Players can use the marketplace to trade items, fragments, skins and other game-related assets with each other using CPAY.

A player who finds something valuable can offer it to other players.

A player who needs resources can purchase them.

A player who wants to progress faster can buy resources from players who earned them through gameplay.

This creates real economic interaction between players.

The game provides the marketplace and trading environment.

The actual currency behind that economy is CPAY.

Your local CPAY wallet

The wallet is deeply integrated into Cryptix Universe.

It is not simply an external payment option.

Each player can use a local CPAY wallet as part of the game experience.

This allows players to participate in the Cryptix Universe economy using actual CPAY coins.

CPAY can be earned, received, held and used without replacing it with a separate centralized game currency.

This is an important distinction.

Cryptix Universe does not need to create a second artificial currency just to simulate an economy.

The Cryptix Network already provides the currency.

Cryptix Universe provides a world in which that currency can actually be used.

A player-driven economy

The marketplace allows different types of players to participate in different ways.

Some may concentrate on combat.

Some may hunt rare equipment.

Some may gather fragments.

Some may trade.

Some may invest heavily into upgrading their character.

Others may sell resources instead of using them.

This creates specialization.

A player who earns a resource does not necessarily need that resource personally.

Another player may value it much more.

That difference creates trade.

Trade creates prices.

Prices create economic decisions.

And those decisions are made by players rather than being completely predetermined by the game.

A simple example shows how this works in practice:

  • Player A invests 10 hours, farms valuable items, sells them and earns CPAY.
  • Player B owns CPAY and does not want to spend 10 hours farming, so they buy the items from Player A.
  • Player C is very strong and sells their time as a carry or booster.
  • Player D wants to reach the endgame quickly and pays Player C.
  • Player E reinvests everything into better gear, can farm tougher enemies and therefore produces more valuable resources.

Nobody is forced into a single role.

Time, skill, equipment and CPAY can all be traded against each other, and every player decides which of them they want to invest.

Marketplace fees create a circular economy

Marketplace activity generates trading fees.

The current model is designed around a standard marketplace fee, with reduced fees available for Premium sellers.

These fees can then support different parts of the Cryptix Universe ecosystem.

The current economic concept includes distribution toward:

  • Continued development and infrastructure
  • World house owners
  • Player reward systems

This creates an economic cycle.

Players play.

Players earn resources.

Players trade.

Trading creates economic activity.

Economic activity supports the ecosystem.

Instead of relying entirely on unlimited newly generated rewards, parts of the reward economy can therefore be financed by activity already taking place inside the game.

World houses

Cryptix Universe also contains limited world houses.

Houses are not intended to be purely decorative.

They form another part of the game's economy.

House owners can participate in a portion of marketplace activity allocated to the house system.

Because houses are limited, they introduce scarcity and another long-term objective for economy-focused players.

This creates progression beyond normal equipment and character levels.

Players can compete for strength.

They can compete in PvP.

They can compete for rankings.

And they can compete for economic positions inside the world.

Quests, events and community objectives

Cryptix Universe includes daily and recurring activities that give players additional objectives beyond normal progression.

Daily quests reward active participation and can connect players with additional reward systems.

Community-wide objectives can also create temporary goals for the entire player base.

For example, the community may need to defeat a certain number of enemies.

If the target is reached, players could receive a temporary global benefit such as increased Dungeon experience.

Different community objectives can provide different bonuses.

This creates changing goals and gives the community reasons to work together instead of every player existing inside an isolated progression loop.

Sustainable rewards

Cryptix Universe is not designed around the idea that every action should directly create CPAY.

That model would become increasingly difficult to sustain as the number of players grows.

Instead, reward systems can be connected to actual economic activity inside the game.

One example is the player lottery.

Players can qualify through active gameplay and daily quests, while part of marketplace activity can contribute toward the reward pool.

This means rewards can have an economic source.

More players create more activity.

More activity creates more trading.

More trading creates more fees.

And those fees can partially flow back into the ecosystem.

The goal is therefore not unlimited inflation.

The goal is a circular economy.

CPAY utility

Cryptix Universe gives CPAY a direct use case inside an actual multiplayer game.

CPAY is not only something players can hold in a wallet or trade on an exchange.

Inside Cryptix Universe it becomes the currency connecting players with the game economy.

CPAY can be used for systems such as:

  • Buying and selling equipment
  • Buying and selling fragments
  • Marketplace trading
  • Player-to-player economic activity
  • Skins and cosmetics
  • Marketplace fees
  • House-related systems
  • Reward systems
  • Future game services

The more economic activity takes place inside Cryptix Universe, the more actual utility CPAY receives inside the Cryptix ecosystem.

Server-authoritative security

A game containing an economy with real value cannot trust the browser client.

Cryptix Universe therefore uses a server-authoritative architecture.

Critical information is validated by the server.

This includes systems such as:

  • Player HP
  • Damage
  • Items
  • Loot
  • Rewards
  • Character progression
  • Marketplace actions
  • Currency-related game actions
  • PvP actions

The browser client is primarily responsible for rendering, controls and presentation.

Changing local browser values therefore does not automatically change the authoritative game state.

Anti-cheat protection

Cryptix Universe contains additional anti-cheat protection designed specifically for a browser environment.

The game can verify client integrity and detect modifications to important game code.

Integrity verification is also repeated while the player is connected instead of relying only on a single startup check.

Combined with server-authoritative game logic, this makes modifying economically important systems through normal browser manipulation significantly more difficult.

Security is particularly important because cheating does not only affect gameplay.

It can also affect an economy in which players trade using real CPAY.

Optimized networking

Cryptix Universe has been heavily optimized for browser and mobile networking.

Activities such as cities, trading, marketplaces and NPC interaction require very little bandwidth.

Typical city activity requires approximately 1 KB/s, with short peaks of around 5 KB/s.

Combat-heavy gameplay such as wilderness areas and PvP typically requires approximately 10–20 KB/s, with short peaks that can reach around 30 KB/s.

The game also includes interpolation to reduce the visible effects of latency and unstable connections.

When information temporarily arrives late, movement and other actions can be predicted for short periods and smoothly corrected once new server information becomes available.

Packet-loss handling and error correction further reduce problems caused by unstable connections.

The anti-lag system is designed to remain functional at latencies of up to approximately 400 ms, although connections above roughly 300 ms naturally become increasingly noticeable.

This makes Cryptix Universe much more accessible for players using mobile networks or connecting from regions far away from the nearest game server.

Modern browser technology

Cryptix Universe is built using Three.js and modern browser graphics technology including WebGPU.

The game uses a stylized low-poly visual direction designed around performance, readability and its own visual identity.

Dynamic lighting, shadows, visual effects, combat effects and environmental elements create a complete 3D world while keeping the game suitable for browser-based deployment.

Much of the visual content is generated procedurally through code.

This reduces dependence on large traditional asset packages and allows visual elements to be controlled and optimized directly by the game.

Desktop and mobile

Cryptix Universe is designed to work across desktop and mobile devices.

There is no traditional multi-gigabyte game installation.

There is no separate launcher.

Players can open Cryptix Universe directly through the browser and enter the game.

Performance settings and render scaling allow the game to adapt to very different hardware classes.

The same universe can therefore be accessible from smartphones, notebooks and gaming PCs.

Controls follow the same idea. Mouse and keyboard, gamepads and touch input are all supported, so the same character can be played from a desktop, a laptop, a tablet, a smartphone, a smart TV or a console browser.

Not Play-to-Earn at the expense of gameplay

Cryptix Universe contains Play-to-Earn mechanics.

But earning is not supposed to replace playing.

The model is not:

Click → Receive coins → Sell → Repeat.

Instead, the goal is:

Play → Progress → Create value → Trade → Compete → Participate in the economy.

This difference matters.

A sustainable multiplayer economy needs players who actually want to remain inside the world.

It needs progression.

It needs scarcity.

It needs buyers.

It needs sellers.

It needs competition.

It needs reasons to become stronger.

And most importantly, it needs an actual game behind the economy.

Cryptix Network meets gaming

Cryptix Universe gives CPAY something important:

A place where the coin can actually be used inside an interactive multiplayer world.

The Cryptix Network provides the currency and transaction layer.

Cryptix Universe provides the game and its economy.

Players can fight.

Players can progress.

Players can trade.

Players can earn resources.

Players can sell resources.

Players can spend CPAY.

Players can compete.

Players can participate in an economy together.

And they can do all of this directly from a browser.

Welcome to Cryptix Universe

A universe where gameplay comes first.

A universe where players create the economy.

A universe where CPAY has real utility.

A universe where your wallet connects directly with the game world.

Welcome to Cryptix Universe.
